BIO

Ari Derambakhsh is a classically trained actress and singer of Iranian descent, originally from the beach cities of Los Angeles, CA. She holds a BFA in Acting from Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts.

Ari most recently starred as Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Guthrie Theater, directed by Joseph Haj. Other notable stage credits include: English (2023 Pulitzer Prize winner) at The Old Globe, Kate Hamill’s Pride & Prejudice at Cleveland Play House, and the world premiere of The Bookstore at New Jersey Repertory Company. She has also worked at acclaimed theaters such as Shakespeare’s Globe, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, and The Kennedy Center.

Upcoming : On screen, Ari will soon make her feature film debut opposite JK Simmons in 109 Billion Followers, and her television debut in an upcoming AppleTV+ series.

Ari is based in New York City and works bicoastally between LA and NYC. She is proudly represented by Sweet180 Talent & Literary Management (Lillian LaSalle, Lori Swift), is a member of AEA, and SAG-eligible.
